Our Ministries

Sunday Mornings
10:30 am

Our invitation to "Come and Grow With Us" begins with our Sunday morning service. As a plant grows from a seed, taking root and growing stronger, we want the Biblical truths we teach on Sunday mornings to take root in your heart. Strong roots keep a plant in place and provide nourishment. The Bible is the Word of God, it is where we learn how to live a victorious life. It is where we get our strength and nourishment, and where our roots are planted.

This is also where we meet and connect with each other making friends and establishing personal support systems. Strengthening our personal relationships with each other and with Jesus Christ is a vital part of our Christian life.

Wednesday Night Bible Study 6 pm

We invite teens and adults to join us Wednesday nights for further spiritual growth. We typically begin the evening with Bible study and discussion, then move on to prayer. We are faithful to lift up our church family to the Lord. We also pray for the community and Israel, our leaders, and any special prayer requests. God has been answering our prayers and we are always grateful to hear praise reports!

Our Wednesday night meetings are a more infrmal and personal time where we minister to each other directly and answer questions.

**Wednesday night services are held in the main children's classroom to the left of the sanctuary building.

Intercessory Prayer

Do you have a prayer request? We believe prayer is a powerful tool God has given us. He tells us in His Word to pray without ceasing. New Life in Christ has a special time at the end of every service devoted to prayer. We invite anyone to join with a prayer partner and bring their requests before God.

If you have an urgent prayer need, we are also available during the week, or you can submit your prayer requsts below. Rosie McGlasson is our Intercessory Prayer Leader.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

Every 2nd Saturday of the month the men meet for prayer, fellowship, and breakfast! This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the other men in the church a little better. Relevant topics such as time management are discussed.

Meet at 9:00 am in the church kitchen! Occasionally maintenance projects will be announced.

Reaching out to our local community is a great way to share the gospel in a practical way! Our two main community events are Splash Day, in June and Fall Fest, in October. We also like to prepare Christmas gift boxes for local nursing homes.

We are excited to support locally the police chaplin Danny Hubble of Special Forces Ministries. And internationally the Hattabaugh family, missionaries in Lebanon, through Club 1040.

Children and Youth

Children's Church is available on Sunday mornings for children ages 3-17!

Every other Wednesday night, during the evening service, children 6 and older can participate in a cooking bible study led by Barbara Hickman.

Children who enjoy singing can join our Stepping Stones children's choir. Choir meets Wednesdays at 4:30 pm, Oct. through April.

Worship Team

We have a nice mix of modern, traditional, and southern gospel songs. Some of our favorites come from popular artists like Hillsong and Bethel. If you have a talent for music, or would like to learn, contact our interim worship leader Pastor Phil.

We are currently accepting applications for a worship leader (volunteer basis).

Weekly rehearsals meet Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Audio and Video

If you're gifted with technology skills, you may be interested in our Audio/Visual Ministry! This includes running music slides, setting sound levels, and turning on all sound equipment and mics.

Bill Stewart is in charge of this ministry.
